We spent today in Matto Grosso in cerrado scrub forest north of Cuiba.  This is a good place for finding different birds and we added a few to our tally.  White-rumped, Shrike-like and Black faced Tanagers all located. We also found a lovely White-eared Puffbird.  A pair of Burrowing Owls also provided amusement and photo opportunities.
